Listening to an entire album can mean a medium-length car ride, a good study session, or a full-body-sweat dance party. So roughly an hour.
What if you could listen to the biggest album in the world right now in under four minutes? Sounds like an awful mess, right? Wrong!
YouTuber Sam Tsui has crammed the best parts of Adele’s third album 25 into a four minute cover and it totally works. Now if he could only make school projects that efficient.
Tsui posted the video to his over 2.2 million YouTube subscribers last week, writing “Like everyone, I’ve been binge-listening to the new Adele album, and simply could not decide which songs I wanted to take a crack at first, so figured I’d just do them all!! Had an absolute blast arranging this medley, and hope you guys enjoy this little guided tour of “25”.” We did, Sam. We did.
The week one sales for 25 have just been finalized and crossed 3.38 million units sold, making it the biggest sales week for an album ever. Like, ever ever. Or at least since 1991, when Nielsen ratings began tracking sales. Let’s just say ever.
