Here’s What The ‘Spectre’ Opening Would Look Like With Radiohead’s Rejected Theme Song

Spectre Main

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke confirmed the rumors were true: They were asked to write a theme for the latest Bond installment and Daniel Craig’s last, Spectre.

On Christmas Day, Yorke tweeted that the band was indeed writing a song for Bond, but in the end, it didn’t work out and director Sam Mendes and company chose to go with Sam Smith’s Writings On The Wall. Yorke shared the track, simply titled Spectre, via SoundClound. Luckily for our sake, a fan put Radiohead’s song over the film’s opening for our viewing pleasure.

Hot off the tails of the franchise’s first Best Original Song Oscar win for Adele’s Skyfall, there was a lot riding on this film’s theme song. Which theme song do you like better? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
