DIGITAL

The digital team is a fun, fast-paced and critical unit to all of Bell Media’s Specialty Brands. Our team is responsible for all website production and editorial. The intern will have the ability to assist on content creation for a multitude of brands across all beats. The intern will have the ability to pitch ideas, write stories, take photos, attend events and much more depending on his/her qualifications, determination and hard work. All applicants need to be part of a post-secondary internship program to qualify for this placement.

We’re Looking For

•Music and pop culture know-it-all with unique tastes and interests
•Strong copy writing and editorial skills
•Ability to write copy that expresses your original personality is highly valued
•Familiarity with Bell Media Specialty Brands (Much, MTV, MTV FORA, CTV, CTV Sci-fi Channel, CTV Drama Channel, CTV Comedy Channel)
•Ability to learn new web-based platforms quickly
•Ability to thrive, multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment that demands trend-setting creativity
•Strong familiarity with Photoshop is an asset
•Fluency with online communities and social media
•Fun, hardworking, creative and enthusiastic personality

DIGITAL PRODUCTION

This team is responsible for digital video across all entertainment brands and is the ideal placement for applicants eager to work in the exciting world of production. The intern will have the ability to assist on digital video and social content creation for a multitude of brands across all beats. The intern will have the ability to pitch ideas, edit projects, travel to set, assist with set-up and tear down, take photos, attend events and much more depending on his/her qualifications, determination and hard work. All applicants need to be part of a post-secondary internship program to qualify for this placement.

We’re Looking For

•Entertainment and pop-culture know-it-all with unique tastes, interests and ideas
•Strong videography and editing skills
•Familiarity with Bell Media Specialty Brands (Much, MTV, MTV FORA, CTV, CTV Sci-fi, CTV Drama)
•Strong familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is an asset
•Familiarity and professionalism with working on set (equipment set-up and tear down etc.)
•Ability to thrive, multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment that demands trend-setting creativity
•Fluency with online communities and social media
•Fun, hardworking, creative and enthusiastic personality

BRAND PARTNERSHIPS

The Brand Partnerships team works on behalf of Bell Media’s Entertainment and Lifestyle channels (MUCH, MUCH Studios, MTV, E!, CTV Comedy and Discovery) with advertisers to develop sales partnerships, promotions, contests, giveaways and integrated creative media projects. The intern will work with our team across all Specialty Channel sites (including broadcast, digital and social) to provide support on all projects. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with multiple internal departments (including creative, production, digital, programming, design, communications, marketing, etc), showing the full gamut of media advertising. All applicants need to be part of a post-secondary internship program.

Responsibilities Include

•Support the Brand Partnerships team to identify, develop and execute strategic brand relationships with key partners
•Work with the team to brainstorm unique integrated marketing opportunities for key clients
•Protect the integrity of our brands while cross-promoting the Specialty Channels through partner initiatives
•Work across the programming, production, sales and marketing functions to support the Brand Partnerships team in executing integrated programs
•Additional responsibilities include participating in creative brainstorms, writing/developing promotional documents such as creative briefs, one-sheets and workback schedules, etc.
