JUNO Nominee Scott Helman Talks Highs And Lows Of ‘Augusta’


The 2016 JUNO Award nominations were announced this morning and Much was at the historic Phoenix Concert Theatre getting up close and personal with some of the nominees at this year’s event.

We got the chance to catch up Toronto born-and-bred artist, Scott Helman, who is nominated for both Pop Album Of The Year and Breakthrough Artist Of The Year. He talked about the highs and lows of making the record and cites the breakup song Cry Cry Cry as one of the saddest parts of the process.

He also named Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes as his biggest competition in the Pop Album category. Bieber’s Purpose is nominated for five JUNOs. Mendes trails with four nods for Handwritten.
