Justin Bieber Performs New Song ‘Insecurities’ In Concert

Justin Bieber kicked off his Purpose Tour this week and is already debuting new music. During Sunday’s show in Portland, Oregon, Bieber grabbed his acoustic guitar and treated fans to the beginning of a new song titled Insecurities.

Possibly influenced by the success of his most recent single Love Yourself, the Canadian singer appears to be continuing in the same vein of thoughtful pop ballads. Sounding very Ed Sheeran-like, Bieber sings “What are you worrying for / Trying to open the door / Cause you know that our friendship has only just begun”.

Wearing one of the many flannel shirts that make up his latest tour wardrobe, a solo Bieber mashed up the new song with Home to Mama, a song he co-wrote with Cody Simpson for their 2014 joint album. The single didn’t get much attention when it was initially released, but it has now been added to the Japanese edition of the Purpose album.
