Justin Bieber is making his highly anticipated return to the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards! The Canadian pop star is the latest performer added to the incredible line up of performers for Sunday’s huge show.
Justin Bieber’s addition to the VMAs comes only hours before the release of his “comeback” single What Do You Mean. The new track will likely act as the first single from Justin’s upcoming album, his first solo effort since 2012’s Journals. Justin previously took home VMAs for Best New Artist in 2010 and Best Male Video for U Smile in 2011.
Earlier this week, the initial line up was announced with Demi Lovato, The Weeknd, Tori Kelly, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Twenty One Pilots with A$AP Rocky and Pharrell set to perform during Sunday’s live show from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
The live show will also feature Kanye West receiving the Michael Jackson Vanguard Video Award, with past recipients including Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Britney Spears. In 2006, West presented the award to Hype Williams, with the two having worked on over 20 music videos together.
Nick Jonas will be kicking off the 2015 MTV VMAs early, performing his new single Levels during the red carpet show. Walk The Moon will also be performing on the red carpet. If that’s not enough to get you tuning in early (and it really should be), the VMA pre-show will also feature the debut of Taylor Swift’s latest Joseph Kahn directed video for her single, Wildest Dreams.
