Justin Timberlake Drops New Song ‘SoulMate’ And It’s A Summer Jam

Headed to the beach? Justin Timberlake’s got some heat for you to add to your playlist and it’s called “SoulMate.” On Tuesday, the singer took to social media to announce the release of his new single, marking the first taste of new music since his last record Man of the Woods, which was met with mixed reviews.

“Summer starts now,” the singer declares within the first six seconds of the intro.

Recorded last week in the Bahamas, “SoulMate” features an airy, tropical beat and follows Timberlake as he describes a summer romance. According to Complex, JT’s new track was produced by Nineteen85, the same mastermind behind Drake hits, “Hotline Bling,” “One Dance,” and “Too Good.”

We’re not going to be too quick by calling this the song of the summer, but one thing’s for certain—JT fans are here for it.
