Kanye And Drake Fire Back At Kid Cudi’s Twitter Rant

Yeezy and Drizzy both had some words for Kid Cudi during their live concerts last night, after the rapper took to Twitter to specifically call out the two for not supporting him.

Kanye addressed his sold-out Tampa audience first, by interrupting his performance of “Don’t Like” to call out Cudi by name.

“Kid Cudi don’t ever mention Ye name,” said Yeezus. “I birthed you…We all dealing with that emo shit all the time…We, [Plain] Pat, Don C. Don’t ever mention ‘Ye name, don’t try to say who I can do songs with. You mad because I’m doing songs with Drake, can’t nobody tell Ye who to do songs with. Respect the God.”

The two seemed to maintain a close relationship since the success of 808s & Heartbreak, which Cudi was featured twice on. Cudi was also featured on Yeezy’s track “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1” off his latest record, The Life of Pablo—and was seen leaping around with Ye during the Madison Square Garden unveiling of the album and Yeezy Season 3 collection.

Kanye stated he felt “so hurt and so disrespected,” and in true Yeezy fashion, went on a stream-of-consciousness rant that touched on politics and how he wore skinny jeans first.

Drake took a less aggressive and more indirect approach at sneaking in a Cudi diss during his Oakland show last night.

Drizzy used a play on words from the hook of O.T Genasis’ “Cut It,” singing, “Boy, you getting way too high, you need to Cud-it.”

Simple and subtle. What more could we expect from our boy Drake?
