Calvin Harris Forms Celeb Supergroup For ‘Feels’ Pt. 2 Video

It’s not often that you find a song that justifies not only one but two videos—but when you put together an A-list team of Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Pharrell and Big Sean, more screen time just makes sense.

Following the late-June release of Harris’ video for “Feels,” with his impressive Justice League of musicians, the hitmaker has now dropped a part two. In the new video, uploaded this weekend, Harris and co. create a 1970’s supergroup, with Perry sporting a flowing blonde wig and fringe-friendly frock while Harris plays bass and Pharrell takes over the piano. As for Big Sean, the rapper takes in the scene from his seat at the back of the stage until his verse drops in, at which point he joins lead vocalist Katy Perry at the top of the stage.

The simple yet captivating new video doesn’t appear to be related the of the first version of “Feels,” which was released as part of Harris’ 2017 album Funk Wav Bounce Vol. 1. In Harris’ first effort, he’s joined on a tropical island by his collaborators, who all appear to be in no rush to search for the mainland. Shot with the same grainy filter used in part two, the first video for “Feels” looks like something from a lost scene of Gilligan’s Island, with Perry lounging in the grass, Big Sean seated among the parrots and Pharrell keeping his balance in a small row boat.

The Scottish producer has already dropped the singles “Slide” featuring Frank Ocean and Migos, as well as “Heatstroke” with Young Thug, Pharrell, and Ariana Grande and “Rollin” with Future and Khalid. Harris’ fifth studio album, which also features appearances from Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, and Toronto artists Jessie Reyez and PartyNextDoor, dropped on June 30.

Funk Wav Bounce Vol. 1 is Harris’ first album since 2014’s Motion.
