Kendrick Lamar is coming to Toronto on July 25 and is bringing his exclusive merch with him.
Lamar’s DAMN. pop up will take over streetwear store Livestock at 116 Spadina Ave from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, carrying new merchandise from the Top Dawg Apparel collection.
Coinciding with his North American tour dates, Toronto is one of three Canadian cities that Lamar will be bringing the DAMN. pop up to, alongside Vancouver and Montreal.
Lamar’s pop up follows suit of other big-name acts who have brought pop up shops to the city.
Last year, Justin Bieber opened up a two-day Purpose pop up, which also correlated with his tour dates in Toronto, bringing out hundreds of fans to line up outside of Nomad waiting to spend all of their money on Purpose merchandise and Canadian-themed Bieber shirts.
Nomad was also the home of The Weeknd’s Starboy pop up shop. Back in November of 2015, The Weeknd surprised the fans at his pop-up shop with a special appearance.
But no pop up caused as much as a craze as Kanye West’s Pablo pop up last August, which had fans were so excited that they started forming a line at the shop 24 hours before it even opened.
Lamar will perform at the Air Canada Centre on July 25, and will return for a second show on August 23.
