Kendrick Lamar Just Dropped A Surprise Project


Rapper Kendrick Lamar dropped a surprise project of previously unreleased, untitled, and unmastered songs last night.

The eight recordings on Untitled Unmastered were originally made in 2013 and 2014 in preparation for his chart-topping album To Pimp A Butterfly. The album is now available on most streaming services.

On Tuesday, Kendrick’s manager Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith announced he would be releasing a new project this week, but gave no other hints.

To Pimp a Butterfly has been dominating the music scene since its release a year ago. Last month, it took home five Grammy awards. At the ceremony, Kendrick gave a stunning performance of a few hits from the album. Watch it below.
