Who you gonna call when L.A.’s Staples Center is under attack by ghosts?
Ghostbusters! Kobe Bryant! Ghostbuster Kobe Bryant! There we go.
To promote the upcoming Ghostbusters, past and present NBA stars as well as director Spike Lee are getting in on the slimy action. Bryant is left to handle saving Los Angeles from ghosts on his own, but in New York, basketball superfan Spike Lee is joined by Carmelo Anthony, Walter “Clyde” Frazier and Kristaps Porziņģis to protect the city and probably get slimed in the process.
The clip first aired during last night’s NBA finals game, with Ghostbusters director Paul Feig later posting the funny promo video on his Twitter account, tweeting “Meet our newest #Ghostbusters! League leaders in the paranormal #playoffs. Bustin’ makes the @NBA feel good!”
The Ghosbusters reboot, starring Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon scares its way into theatres on July 15.
