We’re only a few days away from what is sure to be one of the most memorable performances of the year when Lady Gaga headlines Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show in Houston, Texas. The six-time Grammy winner has been busy preparing for the most jam-packed 12-minute performance of her career and thankfully she has been taking her fans along for the ride.
Gaga has been giving fans a backstage look at rehearsals for Sunday’s halftime show for the past few weeks, posting pictures and videos from Houston, including this very cute moment when she and her mom performed coordinated end zone cartwheels.
Now, Pepsi, the official sponsor of the Halftime Show, has released two new videos from Gaga’s intense rehearsals.
Gaga’s manager Bobby Campbell praises his artist’s incredible work ethic in the first clip. “She’s training for this just like an athlete. She stops at nothing to deliver a once in a lifetime performance,” says Campbell.
Gaga’s choreographer Richy Jackson also has nothing but compliments for his collaborator, saying, “Gaga’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. No one that I’ve ever worked with in my time in this business works as hard as she does.”
While not much is known about Gaga’s upcoming halftime show, including the set list or whether there will be any surprise guest performers, we do know that Gaga is ready to take flight.
During an interview with Boston radio station Karson & Kennedy earlier this week, Gaga confirmed that she will be suspended from the roof of Houston’s NRG stadium for part of her performance. If we had to guess which artist would make history by literally flying into their halftime performance, we would pick Lady Gaga. Yassss, Gaga.
