Listen To All The Killer Music In ‘Killing Eve’

The second season of Killing Eve premiered last Sunday, featuring music from artists ranging from Kim Wilde to New York pop group Cigarettes After Sex. The show is known for featuring an unexpected mix of music, creating the perfect soundtrack for the dark drama (which is based on the novella series Codename Villanelle).

The series follows Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), an MI5 agent who sets to track down assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer). Throughout the eight-episode season, the two women develop an obsession with each other. The pair are quite different from each other, with the laid back, quippy Villanelle in contrast to the high-strung Polastri.

The series’ soundtrack is an eclectic mix of genres, adding to each and every twisted moment in the show. A majority of the music is from Unloved, an alternative/indie-rock band, whose unique sound gives off a slow, ’60s rock vibe. Season 1 also featured music by Phil Kieran, Void, Cat’s Eye, Julia Michaels, and Leigh Gracie.
