The nominations for the 37th Annual Brit Awards were announced this past Saturday, and it looks like there’s a little something for everybody.
All-female pop group Little Mix is tied with Rihanna and British hip hop artist Skepta for the most nominations, with three apiece. Little Mix’s most recent album Glory Days is currently No. 1 on the U.K. charts, so it’s no surprise that their surging popularity has earned them a nod.
Once again, Canadian artists dominate the International Male Solo Artist category with Drake, The Weeknd and the late Leonard Cohen all receiving nominations. Last year, Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber duked it out for the title, but Bieber ended up taking home the hardware.
But that’s not the only Canadian connection the Brit Awards has this year–Michael Bublé is slated to host the big show as the third-ever non-British host in history.
In the International Female Solo Artist category, we’ll see sister versus sister with both Beyoncé and Solange earning nominations. Alongside the sibling rivalry, the category is stacked with hit-makers Sia, Rihanna and French singer-songwriter Christine and the Queens also receiving nominations.
