Lizzo Recruits K-Pop Boy Group AB6IX On Latest ‘Truth Hurts’ Remix

Billboard’s No. 1 song just got a K-pop refresh.

On her latest remix of “Truth Hurts,” Lizzo enlisted Korean boy group AB6IX to hop on the viral track.

The five-piece boy band added a new verse and revised chorus, even including some Lizzo-approved wordplay in their lyrics. One verse translates to “There’s no limit, everyday I’m on my way, yo / It’s OK I flip things around, it’s a K.O.”

The AB6IX version of “Truth Hurts” marks the song’s third remix, following the DaBaby and CID versions released last month.

The unexpected collab is rookie group AB6IX’s second single following “Breathe.” Both singles come ahead of their debut LP 6IXENSE due out October 7.

“Truth Hurts” just spent its fourth week atop the Billboard 100, which officially makes it the longest-running No. 1 track by a solo female rapper. The previous record was held by Cardi B’s breakout single “Bodak Yellow,” which topped the charts for three weeks in 2017.

Lizzo is currently on her North American tour, hot off her explosive MTV VMA performance last month. Watch her performance of “Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell” here.
