M83 Are Back With Latest Single ‘Do It, Try It’

French electronic group M83 are back with a new single Do It, Try It off their upcoming album Junk. They premiered the track on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show earlier this week.

Junk is the follow-up to Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, their breakthrough album that featured the hit Midnight City.

On Annie Mac’s show, frontman Anthony Gonzales talked about the difficulty of making the newest album. On Hurry Up, he said, “It was my most successful album and because of that, I didn’t feel any pressure because I just told myself, well, you had an amazing success with the previous album so now you can do whatever you wanna do, so just experiment and have fun with your music and just put it out.”

Before they revealed details of the new album, the band put out an open call for a female keyboardist to join the band, replacing Morgan Kibby who frequently collaborated with the group.

Junk is slated for release on April 8.
