Melanie C Is Back With New Album And Video For ‘Anymore’

This summer marked the 20th anniversary of the Spice Girls’ lead single, “Wannabe,” and in the past two decades we’ve watched as Baby, Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Posh have broken up, reunited, released solo albums and reunited again.

While the careers of all five members have gone off in a variety of trajectories, including fashion labels, acting, and TV hosting, the one member that has kept music at the forefront is Sporty Spice herself, Melanie C.

The tracksuit-loving Spice Girl is preparing to release her seventh studio album, Version of Me, this October and has just dropped a new single that is worthy of a dance party.

The British singer shows off her toned figured while wearing a black blazer and hot pants as she dances her way through a breakup in the new vid for “Anymore.” The video is filled with people in every day situations taking a break to show off their own dance moves in the catchy synth pop dance track.

In addition to the new single, Melanie C has also released the full track listing for her upcoming disc, with the new album adding to speculation that the singer declined participating in a reunion to celebrate “Wannabe” to focus on her solo work instead. Friendship never ends, but sometimes you have to move on.

Melanie C’s latest album Version Of Me will be released October 21st.
