As we gear up for festival season, Toronto’s Field Trip Music & Arts Festival has released its lineup for it’s up for its sixth instalment—Metric and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will headline.
Other notable acts include Toronto indie darlings Alvvays, ethereal Oakville-native Allie X, and pop newcomer Chris LaRocca.
The festival’s first iteration went down in 2013 as a 10-year anniversary celebration of Canadian music company Arts & Crafts. Five years later, the fest acts as the unofficial kickoff of Toronto’s festival season, celebrating both local and international talent.
The two-day event will take place June 2 and 3 at the historic Fort York & Garrison Common.
Passes go on sale this Friday March 9 here with GA passes also available for purchase at Toronto independent music retailers Rotate This (186 Ossington Ave) and Soundscapes (572 College St.). Weekend passes start at $125 with single day passes also available.
