Miley Cyrus Unveils Tracklist For ‘Younger Now’

Tue, September, 19 by Darren Abogado

With 11 days left before her new album Younger Now drops, Miley Cyrus has finally shared the album tracklist, posting it late last night on Twitter.

Having released the album’s lead single “Malibu” and “Inspired” earlier this summer, as well as performing her new single “Younger Now” at last month’s MTV VMAs, the excitement has been building for Cyrus fans to hear the other eight tracks that will appear on the album.

One of the most notable tracks on the list, titled “Rainbowland,” features Cyrus’ godmother and country music legend Dolly Parton.

Back in May, Cyrus spoke to Billboard about fans not taking her seriously as a country artist, saying, “Dolly Parton is my fucking godmother, the fact that country music fans are scared of me, that hurts me.”

All three of her already released tracks have a country sound to them, deviating from her last two releases: the hip hop and rap-inspired Bangerz in 2013, and the experimental and psychedelic mixtape Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz in 2015.

Over the weekend, Cyrus also performed a BBC Radio Live Lounge session live from her Rainbowland Studios in Malibu, reminding us of her Backyard Sessions performances she used to do back in 2012. This time, she performed her newest singles as well as throwbacks like “See You Again” and “Party In The USA,” each with a country twist.

Younger Now drops everywhere on September 29.
