Friday nights just got a whole lot better.
A new anthology series based on some of the biggest musicians in history is coming to Much. ICONS is a weekly documentary series that will air Fridays, and feature comprehensive and candid looks into the lives of some of the most important voices in music.
The new series will debut on Friday, November 17 at 10 p.m. ET with Long Time Running, the critically acclaimed documentary that opened at TIFF 2017. The documentary follows iconic Canadian band The Tragically Hip as they set out for their final cross-country tour of Canada following the devastating news that lead singer Gord Downie had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor.
The following week on November 24, music fans will want to tune into Much at 10 p.m. ET for the special premiere of MURDER RAP: INSIDE THE BIGGIE & TUPAC MURDER. Featuring interviews with friends of the late rap pioneers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, as well as footage from police investigations into both men’s still unsolved murders, MURDER RAP: INSIDE THE BIGGIE & TUPAC MURDER takes an unprecedented look at the truth behind the murders of two of the biggest rappers of all time.
For all the music and history buffs out there, Much will be the best place to see stunning documentaries about musicians like Harry Styles, Whitney Houston, Sam Smith, Bruce Springsteen and more. ICONS debuts Friday, November 17 at 10 p.m. ET on Much.
