If you liked the first installment of the party-friendly comedy Neighbors starring Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Dave Franco, you’re going to love Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Why? Because it’s the same film. We’re okay with that. If it ain’t broke, add more attractive actors and do it again.
Rogen and Byrne are once again playing married couple Mac and Kelly, who successfully rid their neighborhood of a frat house in the first film, only to have a sorority move in next door. Selena Gomez plays the leader of the party-free sorority, while Chloe Grace Moretz and Dope star Kiersey Clemons decide to start party sorority Kappa Nu in the house next door to Mac and Kelly.
In an effort to again clean up their street from booze and bongs (except for their own booze and bongs) and attempt to stop the resale value of their house from plummeting even further, Mac and Kelly enlist their friends Jimmy and Paula, played again by Ike Barinholz and Carla Gallo, as well as Efron’s Teddy.
Neighbors stars Dave Franco and Hannibal Buress reprise their roles in the sequel, which also includes appearances from Billy Eichner, Lisa Kudrow and YouTube star Dallas Cameron.
Zac Efrons Abs Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising hits theatres on May 20, 2016.
