It’s been a big week for Nick Jonas. Not only is he busy traveling the world to promote his new film Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, he also received his first Golden Globe nomination.
Jonas recently premiered the original track “Home” for the upcoming animated film Ferdinand starring John Cena and Kate McKinnon. During Monday’s Golden Globe announcement, “Home” was nominated as Best Original Song, a first for Jonas. Now Jonas has released a sweet video to go with the inspiring, feel-good single.
The video opens with Jonas walking solo into a bull fighting ring armed only with his guitar. As he begins playing, shots from the upcoming film are interjected, showing the young bull Ferdinand growing up to be a reluctant fighter.
Jonas is eventually joined by a group of people who dance behind him, including two flamenco dances who perform on either side of the singer. Announcing the video’s release on his Instagram page, Jonas wrote, “You guys know how special #HOME is to me & I‘m so happy to finally get to share the video! We wanted to create a video showing people of all different walks of life connecting and coming together. Love and acceptance are two of the best things we can give each other.”
The new animated film Ferdinand about a big bull with an even bigger heart hits theatres this week on December 15.
