North by Northeast (NXNE) has announced it’s bringing back the Club Land Curators series for its summer 2018 festival.
The Club Land Curator series will return from June 10-16 at participating venues across Toronto’s downtown core and will see some of Canada’s top music leaders present their favourite new bands. The series aims to encourage music fans to club hop across the city to see their favourite artists transform the music showcase experience.
Notable curators include alt-rock band July Talk’s Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis, Dilly Dally frontwoman Katie Monks, rapper Cadence Weapon, and synth-pop princess Ralph.
Here’s a look at the complete list of curators participating in the series.
For its second annual year, the NXNE Club Land Curator series has expanded with over 30 shows throughout the festival week. The series will take place at venues including The Garrison, Baby G, Horseshoe Tavern, The Dakota Tavern, Bovine, Bambis, The Hideout, Unlovable, Cameron House, Rivoli, The Monarch Tavern, Paddock, Sneaky Dee’s, Hard Luck, and Comedy Bar.
A $29 wristband will get you priority access to all of the shows in the series and can be purchased here. Stay tuned for further announcements on programming.

NXNE also includes a free, three-day music festival in the centre of the city at Yonge and Dundas Square. New this year, NXNE will take over Yonge Street from June 15-17 with the launch of Festival Village, which will host visual art installations, food vendors, brand activations, panels, artist interviews, and comedy shows.
