This Year’s Oscar Nominees Funniest Award Show Moments

The Oscars are this Sunday and are known as the biggest night in Hollywood. The stars are always honoured for their poise and grace on the big screen, but we’re taking a look back at some of this year’s nominees most outlandish award show behaviours!

Jennifer Lawrence

Back in 2013 our favourite sassy starlet took quite the tumble on her way to receive the Oscar for Best Actress. Winning for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, this marked J.Law’s first fall of many on the awards circuit. She’s nominated at this year’s Academy Awards for her leading role in Joy.

Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston definitely enjoyed himself at the 2014 Emmy Awards. The actor, up for his leading role in Trumbo at this year’s Oscars, shocked Julia Louis-Dreyfus when he started making out with her as she went up to accept her winning Emmy. Jimmy Fallon was the one who stepped in to break it up, but needless to say it was one steamy kiss!

Eddie Redmayne

When Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor for his role in The Theory of Everything at last year’s Academy Awards, he could hardly contain himself! Totally freaking out, as he should, the actor couldn’t settle down during his speech. Here’s hoping Eddie wins Best Actor again this year for his role in The Danish Girl, because we can’t wait to see this adorable Brit lose his cool all over again!

Rachel McAdams

Who could forget the epic kiss between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards? The two won for Best Kiss from the epic love story The Notebook, and decided to recreate the iconic kiss on stage. Oh how we miss this couple! Rachel is up for Best Actress in a Supporting role this weekend for her part in Spotlight.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo went viral at this year’s Golden Globes after giving some serious side-eye to Lady Gaga. Gaga brushed by DiCaprio on her way to accept her award for Best Actress for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel, and the memes and GIFs were endless. DiCaprio will hopefully be celebrating instead of giving the side-eye at the upcoming Oscars since he’s hoping to win Best Actor for his role in The Revenant.

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett sent the Internet into a frenzy after she proceed to continuously stoke her SAG award back in 2014 after winning for her role in Blue Jasmine. Appearing quite nervous and overwhelmed the actress processed to fondle her award throughout her speech. Cate is nominated for her leading role in Carol this weekend, so let’s hope she takes it easy on the Oscar trophy should she win!

Christian Bale

Christian Bale was definitely feeling the love at the year’s Critics’ Choice Awards! The actor won for his role in The Big Short and after kissing his wife, decided to plant one on the director of the film Adam McKay, not once, but twice. Chrisitan is up for Actor in a Supporting Role at this year’s Oscars, and we’re wondering who he’ll plant one on next!
