Quavo And Nicki Minaj Have A 1950s Romance In ‘She For Keeps’ Video

We’re only two weeks into 2018 and already we’ve received some true throwback gems in the form of music videos. First was Bruno Mars and Cardi B with their ode to In Living Colour with last week’s earworm “Finesse.” Now Migos member Quavo and Nicki Minaj are bringing it even further back, this time to the 1950s all the way up to the early 1990s. Just with a lot more cleavage than we typically saw in the earlier decades.

The video opens with Quavo surrounded by beautiful women and classic cars before he retreats inside to play on his original Nintendo 64. Singing about a woman he knows is ‘for keeps,’ Minaj’s verses come in during the second half of the song, with the rapper looking fierce in a leather bondage outfit.

“She For Keeps” marks the second time Minaj has teamed up with Quavo in the past few months. Minaj also appeared on Migos’ lead single “Motor Sport” from their upcoming album Culture 2 alongside Cardi B, who is engaged to Migos member Offset.

Migos have yet to confirm whether Culture 2 will still drop sometime this month, while fans wait for the highly anticipated fourth studio album from Minaj. The rapper’s last solo effort The Pinkprint dropped back in 2014.
