Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem and Red Hot Chili Peppers To Headline Lollapalooza 2016

Chicago music festival Lollapalooza turns 25 this year and is celebrating with one of their most impressive line ups to date. Headlining the fest this year are Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The three-day music festival, which takes place in downtown Chicago, has been expanded to four days this year in order to fit in all the amazing musicians tapped to play Grant Park.

This year’s festival will be Radiohead’s second time headlining, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers return for an unprecedented fourth time as headliners. LCD Soundsystem previously played the fest in 2007, but this July marks the first time the English band will headline.

Radiohead and RHCP both have new albums dropping sometime this year, while LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy has hinted at new music for the recently reunited band.

The full line up is set to be announced tomorrow, but as of now Lana Del Rey and J Cole have also been announced as performers.

This year’s Lollapalooza runs from July 28 until July 31 in Chicago’s Grant Park.
