ScHoolboy Q Completes Video Trilogy With ‘Black THougHts’

Hot off the release of his new album, Blank Face, ScHoolboy Q has dropped the visuals for “Black THougHts,” which completes the short film series alongside previously released “By Any Means” and “Tookie Knows II.”

The three videos, all for tracks on Blank Face, tells a fictional story of Q committing a robbery and his arrest for the crime. The first part, “By Any Means,” shows Q hanging out with his squad in his neighbourhood; the second, “Tookie Knows II,” shows his arrest and time in prison; and the third and last, “Black THougHts,” shows the court scene that lands Q in jail and the emotional goodbye he has with young daughter.

After being offered a deal from the prosecutor, Q finds himself in a mansion littered with the features and inmates of a county jail. He kisses his daughter goodbye before boarding a bus that takes him away to prison.

Blank Face, Q’s long-awaited follow up to the well-loved Oxymoron, was released last Friday and features appearances from Kanye, Anderson .Paak, SZA, Jadakiss, Vince Staples and more.
