Toronto artist Scott Helman has had a very busy year, ever since releasing his smash hit Bungalow late last year. Since then, he has put out an EP, toured with Walk Off the Earth and, just last month, he performed at the MMVAs!
Things aren’t slowing down anytime soon for Helman, though, as he continues to record new music. For fans interested in hearing some new music, this is what Helman had to say about the new songs he’s currently working on: “I’m always trying to make something that defines what I’m doing at the time; I don’t go back, I try to sort of look forward when I’m in the studio.”
When he’s not busy making new music, he’s busy on the road and this summer Helman’s plans include quite a few upcoming music festivals. “I never really went to festivals as a kid because it was just super expensive,” he revealed to our very own Tyrone Edwards. “I’m so excited to be at Squamish and EdgeFest […] just to see these artists perform is going to be awesome.”
