Selena Gomez gave her #Selenators a front row seat to her newly released video for Same Old Love.
The pop singer put out a call to superfans in August, inviting them to a special event for her upcoming album Revival last week in LA. Instead of attending a listening party, which many fans assumed was the case, Gomez cast her fans in her new video. Welp, that’s way cooler.
The new single, which was a group effort from Charli XCX, Stargate and producer Benny Blanco, centers around Gomez singing about being tired of bad relationships disguised as love.
The video starts with Gomez driving through the streets of Los Angeles and witnessing toxic relationships. Eventually, she sneaks out of the car and away from the paparazzi, ending up on stage at her own concert, where she’s greeted by her real-life fans.
The new song is the second single from Gomez’s upcoming sophomore solo album Revival, which is set to be released on October 9.
