Solange Releases Two New Music Videos, ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ And ‘Cranes In The Sky’

Solange Knowles surprised fans with the release of her third studio album A Seat At The Table this past Friday, and the solo singer doesn’t show any signs of slowing down now.

Along with the album and digital booklet, Solange has now dropped two visually stunning new music videos, including “Cranes In The Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair.”

Co-directing both videos with her husband and music video director Alan Ferguson, Solange brings her digital booklet to life in the new videos.

In “Cranes In The Sky,” the singer dances and poses in front of a number of desert backdrops, both solo and with groups of women.

For “Don’t Touch My Hair,” Solange is backed by a group of male dancers for some shots and joined by singer Sampha, who dances with Solange and performs on the track.

In a new interview with Tavi Gevinson for W, Solange revealed that she moved to her grandparents small town in Louisiana to write and record A Seat At The Table, also travelling to Jamaica and Ghana for inspiration.

The new album features guest vocals from Lil Wayne, Tweet, Dev Hynes, Kelela, Lu, Q-Tip, Nia Andrews and Kelly Rowland.
