Taylor Swift And Zayn Malik Share BTS Clips From ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik surprised fans in December when they unexpectedly dropped their duet “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” as part of the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. Produced by Jack Antonoff, the sultry and sexy single got the music video treatment on Friday and featured Swift and Malik as a couple who take out their sexual frustrations on innocent hotel furniture.

Now, Swift has shared a behind the scenes look into the filming of the video, which was directed by frequent The Weeknd collaborator Grant Singer.

In the first video shared by Swift this weekend, the pop singer reveals that she and Malik have been close friends for a long time. “It’s amazing when you get to work with people who you hang out with because the question of ‘will we get along’ is already answered,” says Swift. “I think his voice is one of those that’s really rare and I think he’s really special and wonderful. It’s really amazing to get to work together.”

According to Malik, the pair celebrated the video with a glass of Jameson whiskey before wrapping.

Swift later posted a second video, revealing that although the two singers shot “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” at the same time, they didn’t plan on appearing in any shots at the same time. Singer eventually suggested they try a scene together and throw a strobe light on the pair, which helped viewers see that Swift and Malik actually were together on filming day.

Swift and Malik will be in good company when the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack drops on February 10. In addition to their new single, the album will also feature new music from Halsey, John Legend, Corinne Bailey Rae, Sia, Tove Lo, Kygo, John Legend and even a Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas collaboration—features that have quickly made Fifty Shades Darker one of the most highly anticipated soundtracks of the year (click here for the full list of soundtracks to get excited for in 2017).
