Taylor Swift has always been a fan of bringing surprise guests onstage during her concerts, but her latest tour in support of 1989 has taken her love of A-listers to a whole new level.
No longer happy with just a few cameos sprinkled throughout the tour, Swift is continuing to outdo herself every night, showing off her Rolladex of supermodels, actors, athletes, TV hosts, and of course, musicians.
Last night’s concert in L.A. was one of Swift’s biggest shows in terms of star power, but also, dare we say, her most predictable?
First, there was Swift and her longtime bestie Selena Gomez. We knew at some point, Taylena would have to be on stage together. It’s just like, the rules of feminism.
Swift then brought out Justin Timberlake to perform his song Mirrors. Not only are the two famous friends, but one of Taylor’s best known award show dancing gifs, and there are a lot of them, is from Timberlake performing Mirrors.
Alright, so that’s two famous musician friends who both live in L.A. Sounds about right. But then, Swift brought out the big guns and revealed her final surprise guest. Phoebe freaking Buffay.
So @taylorswift13 is THE best person I've ever met. That was fun. Thanks Taylor.

Lisa Kudrow may, at first glance, seem like a bit of a surprise. Sure, Swift did bring fellow Friends star Matt LeBlanc on stage earlier this week (lbr, seeing Joey and Phoebe TOGETHER would have been the best move). But then Taylor and Lisa performed a song that makes total sense: Smelly Cat.
The woman who made being a cat lady cool sang the ultimate cat song. OF COURSE.
