Thanksgiving weekend is almost here and whether you’re a vegan, a vegetarian, or a meat-lover, there’s a good chance you’re going to be doing a lot of nom noming this weekend.
We know that summer the corresponding bathing suit weather has come and gone. You’ve spent months sweating at the gym and are ready to kick back, relax, and eat some pie.
We also know that when a lot of eating is mixed with hanging out with friends and family the last thing you want to do is get active. Fear not! We’ve put together some easy (see: lazy) workout options for you to try this Thanksgiving weekend.
Working out doesn’t have to be boring. Watch your favourite Much shows while you take a few laps on the treadmill.
Get your pet involved.
Get your relatives involved (careful with this one).
Burn off those mashed potatoes by taking a few skips with your little cousin’s jump rope.
Tuning in to watch Much’s weekend movie The Faculty this Saturday at 10E/7P? Get a quick jog in beforehand!
Then throw in a few push ups during commercial breaks.
Mix in leg extensions to get your blood flowing.
Grab any weights, even small ones, and do a couple bicep of curls. This will help with lifting turkey legs to your mouth.
You can even work out while you eat!
Try new things, like following a YouTube fitness tutorial.
But use caution when venturing into the unknown.
