Queen Bey promised she would be back and she’s a woman of her word. After cancelling her spot as one of last year’s Coachella headliners due to her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir, Beyoncé assured fans she would return to the desert in 2018. Return she will, with this week’s lineup announcement showing Beyoncé headlining alongside The Weeknd and Eminem.
This year’s festival will take place as always over two weekends in April starting Friday, April 13 and ending Sunday, April 22 in Indio, California outside of Palm Springs. In addition to the big three headliners, other notable acts include Sza, Kygo, Jamiroquai, St. Vincent, Haim, alt-J, Post Malone, Fleet Foxes, Portugal. the Man, Migos, Cadi B, A Perfect Circle, Miguel and many more.
As for the Can Con at Coachella, The Weeknd isn’t the only Canadian who will be repping the north at this year’s famous festival. Four-time Grammy nominee Daniel Ceasar will be performing on Friday, with frequent The Weeknd collaborator Belly taking the stage on the same day. Montreal duo Chromeo will also hit the stage on Saturday, along with Toronto’s Alvvays.
