The Weeknd And Future Share Pics From Toronto Music Video Shoot

The Weeknd has been spotted around his hometown of Toronto this week with new girlfriend Selena Gomez and it looks like the two are extending their trip to include a little business as well.

The new couple was spotted eating at the Thompson Hotel last week, following a movie date that included renting out the entire theatre to see Jordan Peele’s new thriller Get Out.

Now, for the business part. The Weeknd began posting pictures from his new video shoot yesterday, which so far has been taking place mainly on the TTC subway.

It appears the shoot will include four masked dancers, with The Weeknd posting a short video to his Instagram page on Wednesday.

The Weeknd also shared a picture of himself in a subway car along with Future, leading to speculation that the music video will be for The Weeknd’s Starboy track “All I Know,” which features the Atlanta rapper. This likely isn’t the first time Future has traveled to Toronto for work, having previously released the joint album What A Time To Be Alive with 6ix God Drake.

Future has also been sharing pics from the video shoot, which appears to be taking place at Lower Bay Station.

The Weeknd also posted an image of himself standing in what looks like an abandoned subway station covered in vines. Captioning the image ‘abandoned territories,’ it appears the singer is paying a dark homage to his hometown.

This marks the second video The Weeknd has shot in Toronto this year, with University of Toronto students reporting that they spotted the singer shooting a video for his track “Secrets” in February.

The Weeknd, who is up for five JUNO Awards during the April 2 award show, has yet to specify when his new video will drop, but considering his track record with Starboy, we can expect to see the full visuals for “All I Want” any day now.

As is his style, the singer has focused on making his third studio album a collaboration of music and visuals, already releasing music videos for “Starboy,” “False Alarm,” “Reminder,” “Party Monster” and his short film “Mania.” Earlier this month, The Weeknd dropped his fifth official video from the album with the Daft Punk collaboration “I Feel It Coming.”

The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid appeared in his music videos, so can we expect a cameo from Gomez in “All I Know?” Probably not.
