The annual Burning Man festival took place this weekend and looked like a real dust up. Celebrities, hippies, celebrities who are hippies and everyone in between trekked out to Black Rock City in Nevada to experience as many different feelings as possible, both naturally and with a little help. You know…”help”.
Other than dancing and setting stuff on fire, what else happens at Burning Man? We turned to celebrities (where else) to see what it really looks like to spend a few days in the desert with strangers.
Katy Perry exhibited the dangers of Segwaying at Burning Man, which includes your Segway running away into the desert.
George Stroumboulopoulos exhibited the after effects of Burning Man, which includes missing being covered head to toe in dust.
Pretty Little Liars and Hand of God star Julian Morris posted a group photo from his time at Burning Man, which included Steam Punk fashion and a giant dinosaur.
Mo dust, mo problems, amirite Diddy?
Model Suki Waterhouse rounded up the weekend’s events with a quick video that included riding a bike, hanging out by RVs and lots of fireworks. So, Burning Man is just like every other festival except dustier?
Taylor Swift’s #Squad was there in full effect. Model and actress Cara Delevingne was snapped a few times over the weekend posing with fans.
Swift’s model-turned-coder bestie Karlie Kloss took a week off from her studies at NYU to study man in its natural habitat. Kloss’s fashion writer friend Derek Blasberg posted this pic of the stunner looking red hot in the desert.
Apparently there is literal burning happening at Burning Man, according to the video posted by Jared Leto. The new Joker also hashtagged #MarsIsComing, which we’re guessing means a new album from his band 30 Seconds To Mars. Okay, so burning and self-promotion. What else?
At Burning Man, you can dress up like a hippie fairy bride if you’re Susan Sarandon. Okay, we’re sold. That looks pretty cool.
