TIFF 2017 Week One: Our Favourite Celeb Social Media Posts

For some celebrities, TIFF 2017 isn’t their first rodeo. Maybe they’ve been to TIFF for five years straight, or maybe they’ve attended so many film festivals in the past twelve months that they’ve lost count.

But that doesn’t mean that they get any less excited about the red carpets, the glamorous screenings, and, this year, the puppies. A lot of them like to share that excitement with the world (or at least their millions of Twitter followers). So to honour the fact that TIFF has officially passed the one week mark, we put together a social media roundup of the best posts (so far) from your favourite stars.

Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer casually lounges on the floor as he chats with the film’s director, Luca Guadagnino.

Unicorn Store actor-director Brie Larson goofs around with co-star Mamoudou Athie during a photoshoot.

Halle Berry takes a moment to admire the city before the premiere of her movie, Kings. (Sadly, the CN Tower is nowhere to be found).

And Robbie’s on-screen mom, Allison Janney, goes out of her way to compliment a young co-star. How cute is that?

Ellen Page holds hands with her GF (both wearing very stylish ties) during the red carpet premiere of The Cured.

The Shape of Water’s Octavia Spencer and Sally Hawkins reunite with Battle of the Sexes star Emma Stone.

Speaking of Battle of the Sexes, Natalie Morales introduces us to her new canine friend.

I mean, seriously. The luckiest. #adoptdontshop

As does The Disaster Artist’s Alison Brie.

But as far as puppy pics go, The Current War’s Nicholas Hoult and Benedict Cumberbatch definitely take the cake.

Cumberbatch and puppies. Life complete.
