YouTuber-turned-superstar Troye Sivan made his talk show debut on The Late Late Show With James Corden last night to talk about his new-found fame, his shellfish allergy and how he helped a fan come out to his mom.
Surprisingly, the success of his latest single Youth (the song just broke the top 25 on Billboard) off his stunning debut album Blue Neighbourhood, hasn’t affected his life—at least when he goes home to Australia. When he’s home, he chills with his friends at home like most nomral 20-year-olds.
“It’s so awesome,” he said. “No one cares at all. It’s the best thing in the whole world.”
Sivan also got the chance to speak more on a moment from one of his concerts that went viral. While performing in Washington D.C, he read a note from a fan announcing that she was bisexual, revealing her sexual orientation to her mother who was also in the crowd.
