He started out on YouTube posting covers of pop songs over five years ago. 3.7 million subscribers and 3.1 million Twitter followers later, Troye Sivan is finally ready to drop his debut studio album this Friday.
He’s already dropped a handful of tracks from the Blue Neighbourhood including a stunning three-part video series to accompany three of the tracks on the album. In the videos WILD, FOOLS, and TALK ME DOWN he explores themes of youth, innocence and new love.
But before he releases Blue Neighbourhood, the highly anticipated follow up to his six-song EP Wild, we got a chance to sit down with the 20-year-old South African born-Australian and talked musical influences, his first live show and his hopes for first full-length album.
