*SPOILERS BELOW ON THE WINNER OF SEASON 9 OF THE VOICE
The Season 9 finale of The Voice aired last night on CTV and concluded a year of incredible performances and one very high profile romance. While much of the talk from this season centered around the new relationship between Coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, the musical performances took center stage last night.
All four of the final contestants, including Jordan Smith, Jeffery Austin, Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts, took the stage throughout the night, performing in group numbers and on their own with musical guests, including Usher and Tori Kelly.
The contestants weren’t the only performers hitting the famous stage last night. Coach Pharrell joined Missy Elliott for a high energy performance of their track WTF (Where They From, complete with marionettes.
Country singer Sam Hunt performed his single Break Up In A Small Town.
Coldplay brought their monkey friends on stage for their high energy single Adventure of a Lifetime.
The Weeknd earned a two-song performance, including Earned It and Can’t Feel My Face.
Fellow Canadian Justin Bieber was the final performer of the night, kicking things off at the piano and moving into a full dance routine for his latest single, Sorry.
The Season 9 winner of The Voice was eventually crowned with Team Adam’s Jordan Smith taking home a statue and a new record deal. The Kentucky native with the powerful gospel voice concluded the show with an emotional performance of Climb Every Mountain.
