Miley’s little sister Noah Cyrus may just be a teenager, but she has quite a set of pipes.
Cyrus made her late-night debut Tuesday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing a stripped-down version of her single, “Make Me (Cry),” alongside U.K. singer-songwriter Labrinth. The 17-year-old singer stuns with her impressive vocals, belting out the heartfelt lyrics in an accomplished performance. Watch the video below.
Cyrus has previously mentioned her sister Miley has been one of her mentors during this process. The two definitely have similar sounds, but the younger Cyrus’ Tonight Show performance has a very indie-rock feel to it, setting her apart from her country-inspired musical family members.
Last November, Cyrus released “Make Me (Cry),” the first single off her forthcoming album which she announced on Twitter this past Monday. Her debut album will be titled NC-17, representing her initials and age while also serving as an edgy nod to the MPAA’s rating for explicit films with an age restriction. NC-17 is expected to be released later this year.
