With every festival death comes a new festival birth. In this case, Florida is continuing its efforts to become cool and not just the place every Canadian over 60 spends their winters vacationing. How does one become cool? Launch yet another music festival.
The first Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival took place this weekend and on the bill was newly formed supergroup PoWoW!, which includes R&B singer Miguel and Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler.
What’s a brand new supergroup to do when they haven’t had much time to write originals? Cover Hotline Bling, of course.
So where does PoWoW!’s cover of Hotline Bling rank? We think it takes the cake for best Party Vibes.
