Today, WE Day announced the host, performer and presenter line-up for the annual youth empowerment celebration, and it’s safe to say the Toronto event is going to be one for the books.
The October 19 concert will be hosted by actress and model Zendaya, who Michelle Obama recently described as a “role model” thanks to her positive social media messaging and charitable efforts. Zendaya has also been cast as Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man film.

While Zendaya will be leading the event, the 20,000 attendees at the Air Canada Centre event can expect performances from Jason Derulo, Macklemore, Hedley, and Lilly Singh.
In attendance to present motivational stories, performances and other footage at the Toronto WE Day will be Winnie Harlow, Jacob Tremblay, Chris Hadfield, Margaret Trudeau, Mia Farrow, Paula Abdul, Jordan Smith, Pinball Clemons and Connor Franta.
WE Day is dedicated to celebrating young Canadians who have inspired or made a difference in their community through positivity and action. In Canada, WE Day celebrations take place in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Halifax, Montreal and Saskatoon, as well as Chicago, Seattle and New York City in the US, and London, England.
