Which Three ‘Purpose’ Songs Are About Selena Gomez?

It’s no secret that Justin Bieber is not over Selena Gomez. And it doesn’t help that he can’t seem to escape answering questions about his ex — yesterday’s Access Hollywood interview with Billy Bush was no exception.

“I don’t know if I’m still over it yet.” he said, “I think that I’m definitely in another place, and I think we’ve definitely went our separate ways. I love her and I want her to be awesome, but there are things that remind me of her.”

Bieber also spilled that “a lot” of tracks on Purpose are about his whirlwind romance with Gomez, “Probably, like three,” he said.

Bieber released the tracklist last week on Instagram in the form of 12 graffitied walls in 12 different cities. Here are our best guesses for which songs are about Selena.

I’ll Show You
Bieber’s latest release could be about Selena, it’s darker, more mature and all about proving the haters wrong. And if there’s one person Bieber is seeking sympathy from, it’s probably Selena.

OK, there’s NO way this isn’t about Selena. The apologetic lyrics (I know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twice/By once or twice I mean maybe a couple a hundred times) acknowledge that he’s been an asshole and asks if he can still make amends.

The Feeling ft. Halsey
No one’s heard this song, but solely based on the title, we think it could end up being an emotional ballad about ~love~.

Been You
More speculation: But if it’s Been Anyone for Biebs, it’s Been Selena.

We Are
There are so many things that could follow “we are”. “We are meant to be”, “We are in love”, “We are the best thing that’s ever happened” are just a few examples.
