Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign have just dropped a music video that doubles as a cautionary tale. If you’ve ever wondered how famous celebrities throw giant house parties without getting robbed— there’s a good chance a lot of them actually have been. At least that’s the case in the duo’s new video for their track “Something New.”
The slow jam opens with Demi Lovato arriving at the party, quickly realizing that she’s overdressed for an event that features women in skimpy bikinis. Lovato, who threw her own celebrity-filled party video (including Wiz Khalifa) just a few weeks ago for “Sorry Not Sorry,” isn’t the only big-name to attend Wiz and Ty’s big day out.
G-Eazy, Juicy J, O.T. Genasis, Lil Dicky, fighter Chuck Liddell, NFL player Todd Gurley and singer Jason Derulo all make appearances throughout the party. Actor and musician Jamie Foxx, who also appeared in Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” is also in attendance. It must be really fun to be Jamie Foxx.
While Ty Dolla $ign spends the video making his way through the party and entertaining guests, Khalifa’s attention is on one woman. Unfortunately for Wiz, the woman has ulterior motives, namely keeping the rapper distracted while her friends steal all of his money and marijuana. Not surprisingly, for Wiz Khalifa that’s a lot of weed.
The new R&B track is part of Wiz Khalifa’s upcoming LP Rolling Papers 2, which is set to be released before the end of the year.
We’re not sure which musician is going to release a party themed video next, but were pretty sure that Jamie Foxx will be there.
